LUMS Fall 2027: Application Deadline and SAT/LCAT Requirement

Many Karachi business students apply to LUMS alongside IBA. Here is what you need for the Fall 2027 undergraduate cycle.

Deadline

27 January 2027, 5:00 pm (Pakistan time). LUMS does not accept late applications, and the online system closes at the deadline.

Test requirement

  • Business school (SDSB): SAT, ACT or LCAT is mandatory.
  • Science and engineering school (SBASSE): one of SAT, ACT or LCAT.
  • LUMS sets no minimum score. Only your best score from a single attempt, reported in your application, is considered.

Other points

  • A-Level students sitting November 2026 retakes can apply in the 2027 cycle and state their expected result date.
  • An IBCC equivalence certificate is required if your education is not Matric/FSc/ICS/ICom/FA.
  • Test centre changes must be requested by 15 March 2027, with a reason.

Planning LUMS with IBA

The LUMS deadline falls between IBA Round 1 (test on 20 December) and IBA Round 2 (forms close 8 March). If you are applying to both, decide your SAT or LCAT plan now so your LUMS application is complete before 27 January.
