GIKI Admission Test: Why It Is 85% of Your Merit and How to Prepare

At GIKI, the admission test is almost everything.

HSSC Part I marks are not counted. A strong test can carry a student with average board marks.

What the test covers

Maths, Physics and English. There is no Chemistry section for engineering and computing.

Expect a similar schedule in 2027. GIKI has a test centre in Karachi.

How to prepare

1. Maths and Physics speed. Timed sets of 20 questions in 25 minutes, daily.
2. English. Vocabulary and reading practice, 20 minutes a day.
3. Full papers. In the final month, one full GIKI-style paper every two to three days.

Because the GIKI test falls in July, right after boards, finish your syllabus before board exams start.
