NUST engineering merit uses a simple formula. Once you know it, you can see exactly how much your NET score matters.
Aggregate = (NET % × 0.75) + (HSSC % × 0.15) + (SSC % × 0.10)
A student scores 140 / 200 in NET, 900 / 1100 in FSc and 1000 / 1100 in Matric.
| Part | Percentage | Weight | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| NET | 70.00% | × 0.75 | 52.50 |
| HSSC | 81.82% | × 0.15 | 12.27 |
| SSC | 90.91% | × 0.10 | 9.09 |
| Aggregate | 73.86 |
That is why NET preparation deserves most of your time if NUST is your target.
It depends on your result type (HSSC Part I, complete HSSC, A-Level equivalence or DAE). Check NUST’s eligibility page for your route.
